Short Stories

A writer is a world trapped in a person.
— Victor Hugo

My fondest childhood memories are of carefree summers spent in Tenby, a resort town in Pembrokeshire on the south-west coast of Wales. I’ve always lived near large bodies of waters, and I especially love the sea. To spend every day with the changing colours of the ocean, the smell of salt in the wind, and the sound of waves hitting the rocky cliffs is the closest I can get to heaven.

Traditional mysteries require an isolated location, so I knew that if I was going to spend the better part of the day writing, I wanted to be in a place I love.  So the Meredith Island Mysteries were born.

But I do occasionally leave the island to write short stories and standalone novels.
